SCC Program Description

The Network and Systems Administration program is designed to provide the student with training for various positions related to computer systems. Career opportunities include being a Local Area Network (LAN) administrator, systems analyst, and technical support.

The Linux Professional program is designed to help prepare students for various industry-recognized Linux certification exams and provide practical hands-on skills for the workplace. The program includes a core of Linux classes, including Linux operating system basics, System Administration, Network Administration, and Network Security. These classes will help develop a student`s knowledge and skill level to prepare for employment or improve current professional skills. Objectives for various industry certifications are encompassed within the course and program objectives.

Most of our courses use low-cost textbooks or no-cost material your instructors provide. General education courses may have textbooks that cost more.
