SCC Moving Company

SCC Moving Company is a college level repertory company. The Moving Company is comprised of dedicated dancers who are accepted by audition. The company focuses on dance in its wide range of styles: Modern , Ballet, Jazz, African, and Dance Theatre to name a few. Training requirements for the SCC Moving Company include classes in Ballet, Modern, and Somatics. Rehearsal commitments involve four hours of weekly rehearsal as well as extra time during show week.

Audition: Tuesday August 19th,2008 12:30pm at Scottsdale Community College in PE 135.

Scottsdale Arizona Jazz Ensemble (S.A.J.E.)

S.A.J.E. is a college level jazz ensemble.  S.A.J.E. dancers are also accepted by audition at the beginning of each semester and perform for SCC Dance performances as well as events in the community. This tightly knit group, led by director Jennifer McKusick, primarlity performs her unique style of technique and choreography. Training and rehearsal requirements for S.A.J.E. are Ballet, Modern or Jazz, and four hours of rehearsal per week.

Audition: Tuesday August 19th, 2008 2:30pm at Scottsdale Community College in PE 135.
