Side-blotched Lizard

Scientific Name: Uta stansburianasideblotchedBR
Temporal Activity: Diurnal
Diet: Feeds on a variety of invertebrates and occasionally plant material.
Predators:  Preyed upon by hawks, owls, coyotes, skunks, and ringtails.
Breeding: In spring and summer multiple clutches of two to five eggs are laid
Vegetation Association: Can be found in all desert scrub communities.
Notes:  Will do territorial pushups using only their front legs.  They are terrestrial, being found mainly on the ground.  Males have brightly colored throats; ranging in color from blue to yellow to orange.
