Scientific Name: Bufo punctatus
Residency: From Mexico east into central Texas and west into southeastern California.
Temporal Activity: Active primarily at twilight, primarily around rocky streams.
Diet: Invertebrates.
Breeding: Breeding occurs between March and September depending on the area. Females lay eggs one at a time along the bottom of pools; clutch size ranges from 30 to 5,000 eggs.
Predators: Snakes, birds, and small mammals.
