?Native evergreen
?This plant is a parasite, taking water and nutrients from its host plants
?Host plants are hardwoods such as cottonwood, ash and hackberry
?Provides nesting sites, food and cover to many species such as insects and birds
?Cattle, elk and deer eat mistletoe in the winter
?In Arizona it is harvested as Christmas Mistletoe
?Toxic to humans
