?Native to the Sonoran Desert.
?Seeds are eaten by quail, doves, rodents, and javelina in the summer and fall.
?Verdins can be found in this tree.
?This tree provides escape cover for wildlife.
?The O?odham drink a tea made from this plant, and the Seri and Yaqui use the wood from this plant to make bows.
?They can live at least 130 years and can grow up to 20 ft tall.
