Scientific Name: Tyrannus vociferans
Residency: Summers in northern and eastern Arizona.
Diet: Eats insects, berries and may skim over water to drink.
Predators: Cooper’s Hawk, Chihuahuan Raven, falcons and owls.
Nesting: Nest is bulky and made of twigs, plant stems, rootlets and lined with finer materials. It is placed on a horizontal limb 20-45 ft. high. Eggs: 3-4 per clutch, white with darker marks. One to two broods per year.
