Scientific Name: Dendroica nigrescens
Residency: Winters in Southern Arizona, and Summers in the East and the North.
Diet: Insects that it finds in trees and bushes.
Predators: Sharp-shinned Hawk and Cooper’s hawk take adults. Crows and jays are predators at nests.
Nesting: Made of grasses and plant material, lined with feathers, hair. Eggs: 3-5 per clutch, cream colored with brown mark.
