Scientific Name:  Nolina microcarpa

?Native shaggy clumping grass

?Produces tall flower spikes from May to June which can grow up to 8 ft. high

?Flowers are creamy white in color

?Leaves are eaten by wildlife, during drought

?Sheep and goats are occasionally poisoned

?Mexicans used leaves for basketry

?Native Americans use bud stalks for food
