Scientific Name: Coleonyx variegatusbandedgeckoBR0423004aa
Temporal Activity: Nocturnal.
Diet: Invertebrates
Predators: Small mammals, snakes, and owls.
Breeding: In spring and summer clutch of one or two eggs are laid two to three clutches can be laid per year.
Vegetation Association: Desert grassland and open arid desert
Notes: Due to their similar pattern banded geckos are sometimes mistaken for young gila monsters.
