Most students will transfer to a four-year school to continue their chemistry. Chemistry majors would probably take CHM 441 at ASU. Students should consult an advisor at the University they are planning to attend.

Technology:
Computer-Assisted Instruction is available in the Chemistry Department Computer Lab. Basic knowledge of Macintosh computers would be helpful.

Concurrent enrollment in a laboratory section is not required, but many schools will not accept this course credit without the lab (CHM 236LL).
Time Commitment:
Approximately 8 hours of work outside of class are required for homework/study per week for the lecture and lab courses. The number of study hours varies from student to student.
