To drive a utility cart on any MCCCD property, you must complete the Utility Cart Training Program and take a short quiz. The training program and quiz may be accessed by logging in to Canvas. You may also download and print a copy of the proceedures and guidlines by clicking on the links below.
Parking, Driving, Keys, Injury
Driving Campus and District Vehicles: In order to drive any MCCCD vehicle, or be reimbursed for mileage on a personal vehicle, an employee must be a registered driver with the district. There are three steps to this process:

Safety & Security Programs
SCC Public Safety, in conjunction with the Salt River Police Department, conducts programs throughout the year to inform students and employees of safety and security policies, procedures, and practices. Additional crime prevention presentations are available by special request.
Parking Permits & General Information
Parking permits are required for all Board approved faculty/staff and adjunct faculty(this DOES NOT include temporary and student workers), who wish to park in the designated “STAFF” parking stalls. Cars parked in these stalls must display proper permits or they will be cited. The permit issued by Scottsdale Community College is valid at any Maricopa Community College.
Key Requests: If you are a supervisor who would like to request new or additional building access for an employee, a key request must be submitted to the Maintenance & Operations (M&O) department.
