The Scottsdale Community College Communication and Performance Arts Department is an eclectic group of energetic and innovative programs. Visual design impacts society like never before. It is everywhere, and touches everything from product packaging to street signs. Yet, the right foundation, a combination of creativity, technical skills, and theory are what set great designers apart from the rest. SCC offers a comprehensive program in graphic design that can help prepare you for either employment or for additional study in this vibrant and relevant field.
American Indian Arts Institute (AIAI) is a program of study at SCC. Scottsdale Community College is located on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) and wishes, in conjunction with the Community to develop a year-round American Indian Cultural Center with a focus on American Indian students and American Indian art instructors.

An Art Department where the entire faculty is professional working artists and teaches their own classes in person.
