SCC WOMEN?S SOCCER DOUBLE OVERTIME ENDS IN AN OTHER TIE: The 2007 Women?s Soccer team settled with an other tie on Wednesday the 19th of September. After double overtime and a grueling afternoon sun, the lady chokes ended the game with a 1-1 tie against Cochise College., Amanda Hartrick, our Sophomore Goalkeeper, gave another stellar performance with 12 breath-holding saves. Freshmen midfielder, Casandra Smith, started the second half of the game off with her first goal of the season. The score was soon after tied up with a controversial penalty kick in favor of Cochise. Each overtime was played much like the first two periods, SCC showing defensive ability while quietly absorbing uncalled fouls from Cochise. This weekend the lady chokes are in Chandler taking on the Chandler-Gilbert (2-4) Coyotes.
