DeWitt Earns NJCAA Player fo the Week

Scottsdale's Kami DeWitt ended the 2005 regular season on a positive note by being selected the NJCAA National Player of the Week. DeWitt, a sophomore setter who doubles as an outside hitter, led the Artichokes to the ACCAC Co-Championship and also earned the program the right to host the upcoming NJCAA Region I Tournament.

In a loss to Eastern Arizona, DeWitt had 26 assists, 19 digs, six blocks, and five kills. In SCC's season-ending victory over Glendale, she posted 24 assists, 17 digs, 10 kills and eight blocks.
