SCC's Cohen is Champion at Thunderbird Classic

SCC cross country sophomore Jenny Cohen captured the championship of the Mesa Thunderbird Classic in the Artichokes inaugural event of the 2005 season with a time of 20:17. Freshman teammate Trudy Clover placed third to help Scottsdale to a second place finish at the meet behind the host school Mesa.

Scottsdale's cross country teams will compete in the upcoming ACCAC Meet this Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Glendale. The Conference meet provides a good measuring stick for the Regional Tournament with all of the teams competing.
