Scottsdale Falls to Visiting Eastern Arizona
Scottsdale's men's basketball team played the role of host a little too well on Saturday night as Eastern Arizona walked away withe an 82-64 victory.
Eastern Arizona got off to a quick start, jumping on the Artichokes to the tune of a 22-12 lead eight minutes into the contest. SCC battled back and cut the Eastern lead to just two at 29-27 with six minutes remaining. The Gila Montsters closed the half with a 13-5 spurt to take a 42-32 advantage into the locker room.
The second half was all EAC as its lead never fell below double digits and slowly increased to as many as 20 with just over five minutes to play.
Marcus Palmer's game high 22 points led five Eastern Arizona players in double figure scoring. |
