Undefeated 'Chokes Win Gila Monster Classic

Scottsdale remained undefeated with an 88-60 victory over Grand Canyon JV on the second day of Eastern Arizona's Gila Monster Classic.  SCC was the only team of the four in the tourney to go undefeated.

The Artichokes opened the game a little flat after a hard fought victory the night before, but were able to cruise in the second half for the win.  The victory gives SCC a 3-0 start to the 2006-07 seaswon. 

Brandon Chiarelli paced Scottsdale with 21 points as he connected on five 3-point baskets.  Jesus Mora and Justin Ashbaugh added 16 points each.

The Artichokes next game is November 24th when the Artichokes host Central Lakes College of Minnesota at 7:30 p.m.
