OUTDOOR TRACK AND GOLF HEAD TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS - The 4x800 meter relay team of Amy Ellerman, Morgan Thomas, Emily Gallagher, and Stacey Aguayo journey tomorrow to Coffeyville, Kansas to compete in the NJCAA Outdoor Track National Championships. Morgan Thomas also qualified to compete in the 800 meter individual race.
Brieanne Gregg and Meghann Holland from the Women?s Golf team are currently playing for an individual NJCAA National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida this week. Both qualified based upon their cumulative tournament scores.

GOLF LOOKS FOR TEAM, INDIVUAL ENTRANCE TO NATIONAL TOURNAMENT: With one tournament remaining, the Artichokes are poised to qualify for the National Tournament. Scottsdale is a mere one point behind Paradise Valley for the last qualifying team spot. If SCC does not qualify as a team, Brie Gregg and Francesca Cocchiarella are in place to qualify individually. The two would place first and second, respectively, of the players not on qualifying teams.

GOLF EARNS TITLE AT PAVILLIONS TOURNAMENT: The Women's Golf team won their first team tournament of the year at the SCC hosted Pavillions golf course. The Artichokes were led by 3rd place Francesca Cocchiarella and 5th place Brie Gregg, who shot 156 and 158 respectively. |
