Artichokes Drop Season, Home Opener to #8 Snow 28-7

Coach Doug Madoski conceded that although the score difference seemed to be a large margin, the 'Chokes played tough, and with a couple of calls going their way, the game could have been much closer.

Madoski was also pleased his squad played tough the whole game with very few penalties and overall mistakes. He believes this will be a great building point for the rest of the year.

The game itself was a long one, taking close to five hours due to lightening during the first quarter. Play halted for over two and a half hours before finally resuming.

Overall, the Fighting Artichoke Football team played very hard for Coach Madoski's first effort of 2006 and we can look to see a very competitive fall from his team.
