Etchebarren, and Phil Ortez hit home runs to lead Scottsdale Community College over Colorado Northwestern in the home and season opener for the Artichokes.   After a Justin Hensley single in the bottom of the first inning, Gray homered to deep right field to open the scoring for SCC at the new ballpark.  All of the Artichoke players collected at least one hit and scored at least one run.
