CLOSE LOSSES STRIKE SCC IN 2006:  Scottsdale's men's soccer squad has opened the 2006 season with seven straight losses, with four of those coming by just one goal.  The Artichokes have been outscored 21-3 on the season, but have dropped four of their last five matches by just a one-goal margin.
