2004 SCC Cross Country Places 6th Nationally

Scottsdale Community College's women's cross country team completed a stellar season with a sixth place finish at the NJCAA Division I National Championship. Freshman Jenny Cohen paced the Artichokes with a 17th place finish while teammate Sara Galasky placed 18th. These finishes earned both of these your ladies All-American honors.

Other Lady Artichokes finishes were Cateka Tsosie (48th), Amy Olivas (49th), Melissa Fernandez (56th), Cassandra Bolivar (63rd) and Jessica Grosch (99th).

Individual honors for the 2004 season included:
** Jenny Cohen: NJCAA All-Region I First Team, ACCAC First Team All-Conference, and NJCAA Division I All-American
** Sara Galasky: NJCAA All-Region I First Team and NJCAA Division I All-American
