Ms. Blazer's 30 plus years of involvement in the equine industry includes a professional affiliation with a Veterinary Biology and Pharmaceutical Company, multiple breed associations, equine journalism, and experience with college agricultural extension service. Diane has been a professional rider and trainer and has had, in addition to SCC, academic affiliations with Colorado State University and William Woods College.
Diane is the author of the book Teaching Riding, and has been a member of the U.S. Dressage Federation, American Quarter Horse Association , Arabian Horse Association of Arizona, and the American Paint Horse Association. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi, a national scholastic honor society, Gamma Sigma Delta, agricultural academic Honor Societies, and is a Fellow in NACTA (National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture).
Currently, Ms. Blazer is the Director of the SCC Equine Program. She coordinates all facets of the program and is extensively involved with student advisement regarding internship programs and student transfer to other equine programs at four year college equine programs.
