Ms. Blazer's 30 years involvement in the equine industry includes a professional affiliation with a Veterinary Biology and Pharmaceutical Company, multiple breed associations, equine journalism, and has experience with college agricultural extension service. Diane has been a professional rider and trainer and has, in addition to SCC, academic affiliations with Colorado State University and William Woods College.
Diane is a member of the U.S. Dressage Federation, American Quarter Horse Association, International Arabian Horse Association, Arabian Horse Association of Arizona, and the American Paint Horse Association. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi a national scholastic honor society, Gamma Sigma Delta, a national agricultural honor society Agricultural Academic Honor Societies, and is a Fellow in NACTA (National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture).
Currently, Ms. Blazer is the Director of the SCC Equine Program at SCC and is an active participant in teaching equine classes. She coordinates all facets of the SCC equine program and is extensively involved with student advisement re: internship programs and student transfer to other equine programs at four year colleges and universities.
