Other Important Deadline Dates 

Spring Semester 2016
November 1, 2015 Priority filing date for new and continuing students to submit the 2015-2016 FAFSA application and any Financial Aid To Do items on the my.maricopa.edu self-service site. Students who submit all required paperwork by the priority date will have their application reviewed before the tuition due date. Applications received after this date will still be considered for aid, but the student will not receive their award letter until after the start of the semester. Students who file after the priority date should be prepared to use their own funds to pay for their tuition and fees prior to the tuition due date.
January 16, 2016 Spring classes begin.
NOTE: Students with late starting and/or modular classes may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursement delayed past the below listed dates, students should plan accordingly.
January 21, 2016 Deadline to electronically accept award notification and complete any Financial Aid To Do items (Direct Loan counseling, Master Promissory Note) to have financial aid available for earliest disbursement (exception is first time, first year 30 day delay loan recipients).
NOTE: Students with late starting and/or modular classes may have some (or all) of their grant and/or loan disbursement delayed past the below listed dates, students should plan accordingly.
January 26, 2016 Spring Pell Census date. A student must register for all classes by this deadline to be considered in determining final Pell Grant amount for the semester. Courses also include those recognized through the completion of a consortium agreement. If a student registers for additional courses after this date, additional Pell Grant cannot be awarded. Pell awards for financial aid applications received after this date will be calculated based on the student's enrollment at the time the application is complete.
January 29, 2016 Earliest date that spring semester aid can be applied toward paying spring fees.

February 2 -
February 12, 2016
Estimated date spring financial aid refunds will be processed by the college. You will receive notification with details on how you would like to receive your refund.
February 14, 2016 Estimated date first time, first year 30 day delay loan recipients will have the spring semester loan applied toward paying spring fees and refunds will be processed by the college. You will receive notification with details to sign up for how you would like to receive your refund.

March 11, 2016 Last day to submit Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeals for Progress Measurement and Grade Point Average Measurement. Requests submitted after this date will be considered for the following semester.
March 14, 2016 Estimated date second disbursement of spring loan financial aid refunds, for students attending ONLY spring semester, will be processed by the college. You will receive notification with details on how you would like to receive your refund.

April 29, 2016 Last day to submit documents (tax returns, verification worksheet, etc.) needed to complete your spring 2015 financial aid file.
May 13, 2016 Last day of the spring semester.
Summer Semester 2016
