Earning your degree or certificate at Scottsdale Community College means you are getting one of the best educational values in the nation. While tuition at SCC remains more affordable than tuition at state or private institutions, like many students, you may require some form of financial aid.
Students who completed their applications by June 1 for Fall 2011 will be notified of Financial Aid awards in late July.
Your classes will be held until awards are made.
SCC priority deadline:
- Fall 2011 - June 1st
- Spring 2012 - November 1
- Summer 2012 - May 1
You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and submit any requested information to the SCC Financial Aid Office by the priority deadline in order to have your application reviewed before the tuition due date. Financial aid applications received after this date will still be considered for aid, but students will not actually receive their award letter until after the start of the semester. You can find any outstanding items on the Financial Aid "To Do" list on the My.maricopa self service site.
If you file after the November 1 priority date, you should be prepared to use your own funds to pay for tuition and fees prior by the tuition due date of November 29, 2011. You may opt to use the Payment Plan to hold your classes until your financial aid application can be processed. For additional information regarding payment of tuition and fees go to:: Pay My Bill
