Admission Process

1. Admission Procedure for New Students

If you are interested in attending credit classes at Scottsdale Community College you must submit a Student Information Form to the Admissions, Records and Registration Office prior to any registration or assessment/testing activity.

You can acquire a Student Information Form:

  • online (this link will take you to where you can complete the SIF, as long as you are new to the school) 
  • from here, if you have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • in the Admissions Office - The Admissions, Records and Registration Office is located at the southwest side of the Scottsdale Community College campus. Student Information Forms, as well as Class Schedules and Catalogs are available both inside and outside the Admissions Office.
  • in the Advisement Office
  • in the printed Schedule of Classes. A Student Information Form is included in every Schedule of Classes printed by Scottsdale Community College.

Should you have any questions about how to properly fill out your Student Information Form, please call Scottsdale Community College at 480-423-6100 and ask to speak with an Admissions Technician. It would be our pleasure to assist you with your admission process and clarify any questions you may have.

Student Information Forms are processed within 72 hours of receipt. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

After you have completed both sides of the Student Information Form and have signed and dated the document please submit it to the Admissions, Records and Registration office at Scottsdale Community College. There are three convenient options available for you to submit your Student Information Form to the Admissions, Records and Registration Office, 1). in person, 2). via U.S. mail or 3). via fax.

How to submit your Student Information Form:

1. In Person:

All students may submit a completed Student Information Form in person, with a picture id, at the Scottsdale Community College Admissions, Registration and Records Office. Scottsdale Community College is located on the northeast corner of Loop 101 and Chaparral Roads in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Admissions, Records and Registration Office is located at the southwest side of the campus. Standard hours of operation for the Admissions, Records and Registration Office are:

Monday through Thursday: 8:00am-7:00pm

Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm (closed Fridays during the Summer)

The above hours of operation do not apply to federal holidays, Christmas/winter break or spring break. If you plan to submit your Student Information Form in person to the Admissions, Records and Registration Office, please call 480-423-6100 to confirm our hours of operation.

2. By U.S. Mail:

If you mail your Student Information Form please utilize the following address:

It is the student's responsibility to confirm the receipt of any Student Information Form submitted via US mail.

3. By Fax:

If you fax the form, please send it to: 480-423-6200, and clearly mark the fax to the Attention of: New Student Admissions.
