25th Anniversary Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre
May 27 - July 2, 2014

Welcome to the magical 27th season of the Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre (SCT) preparing students for the professional world of theater! This professional training program is the only one of its kind offered in Arizona!  Our “boot-camp” in theatre training meets Monday –Thursday from 8:30am -6pm and is an audition/interview process that accepts only 20 students in each track so you will be surrounded by people who are as committed to your craft as you are!

Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre is a six-week summer program that offers an exciting opportunity for acting and technical students to earn college credit while studying with professional actors and designers who are currently working in their field.

The acting program consists of 10 college credits!

Classes are in stage movement, mask, dance, voice and diction, and text analysis, character development, scene study, and all students will have performance opportunities alongside professional actors working in the industry in the fully produced main stage production during the final week of SCT.

The SCT Technical Track consists of 9 college credits!

Also, for the first time in many years the SCT Technical Track is being offered to those technical students interested in designing sets, lights, props, sound, costumes and make up.

This is an intensive and nurturing program that will benefit students at every level! Auditions and/or interviews are required, and students aged 16 and up are eligible to join this year’s lucky group of 20 students.

I hope you will join us for this life changing experience as we celebrate 27 years of excellence.  Click on the video clip about last year’s amazing SCT students and their production. Also, click on the tab to download an application and apply today!
