Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre
May 30 - July 3, 2017

Welcome to the 30th season of the Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre (SCT)! We prepare students for the professional world of theater!  This is not a summer theatre camp.  This professional training program is the only one of its kind offered in Arizona!  Our “boot-camp” in theatre training meets Monday – Thursday from 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., and is an audition/interview process that accepts only 30 students. You will be surrounded by people who are as committed to your craft as you are!

Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre is a six-week summer program that offers an exciting opportunity for Acting and Technical Theatre students to earn college credit while studying with professionals who are currently working in their field.

The acting program consists of 10 college credits!

Classes are in stage movement, mask, dance, voice and diction, text analysis, character development, scene study, and musical theatre. All students will have performance opportunities alongside professional actors working in the industry in the fully produced main stage production during the final week of SCT.

The technical program consists of 9 college credits!

Classes in script analysis, career development, props, lighting, set, costumes, cosplay, makeup design, and practical production design experience with working professionals, in our full-length production at the end of the intensive.

Auditions and Interviews are on April 29th from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

I hope you will join us for this life changing experience as we celebrate 30 years of excellence.
