Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre

25th Anniversary Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre

May 29 - July 3, 2012

Welcome to our magical 25th season of preparing students for the professional world of theatre.

Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre is a five-week summer program that offers an exciting opportunity for acting students to earn college credit while studying with professional actors who are currently working in their field.

In addition to classes in stage movement, mask, voice and diction, and text analysis, the former director of the Conservatory, Pam Fields, will be teaching a master class in Anton Chekhov acting technique this summer, and we will be producing THE GOOD DOCTOR by Neil Simon.  All students will have performance opportunities alongside professional actors working in the industry!

This is an intensive and nurturing program that will benefit students at every level of acting.  Auditions are required, and students age 16 and up are eligible to join this year’s lucky group of 20 students.

I hope you will join us for this magic carpet ride as we celebrate 25 years of excellence!

Sincerely,

Randy Messersmith
Director, Scottsdale Conservatory Theatre
