Architectural Technology

The Architectural Technology program core focuses on Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) using AutoCAD software. Students build drafting and computer skills through the development of professional quality residential and commercial working drawings. Registered Architects form the faculty core, conducting classes in an office-like atmosphere designed to simulate the professional work place. Lessons are real-world based, incorporating typical design industry conventions, code requirements, local construction methods, and the problem solving skills typically required for on the job success.
