Yes! Public employees are stewards of the district’s programs, services, resources, and finances. Stewardship means you are entrusted with representing MCCCD in general and SCC specifically. How do you know if you are performing your job as expected? Answering that question starts with your supervisor setting work expectations and then the two of you communicating about them on a regular basis. Whether or not you are in a position covered by the district performance management system, knowing how you are doing with your job is important. If you don’t know, ask your supervisor!
