Diversity of Enrollment

In the Fall of 2009, enrollment of all full-time undergraduate students in credit programs was 3,748. Of these 46% were female and 54% were male. 5% were American Indian/Alaska Native, 2% Asian/Pacific Islander, 5% Black, Non-Hispanic, 9% Hispanic, 66% were White, Non-Hispanic, and 3% were Non-Resident Alien.

Diversity of Pell Recipients

Federal Pell Grant recipients comprised 19% of the full-time enrolled students in the Fall of 2009. Of these, 50% were female and 50% were male. 36% of the Pell recipients identified themselves as members of a racial or ethnic minority.

Retention Rates

62% of the first-time, full-time undergraduate students who enrolled in the Fall of 2009 returned in the Fall of 2010. The part-time student retention rate was 42%.

Graduation and Transfer Rates

The 3-year graduation rate for full-time students entering in Fall 2007 was 17%. The 3-year transfer-out rate was 29%.
