There are many different ways that you can get involved. We have put together some ideas how you can get active in the GLBT and support community. Have Fun!

You can help one of our MCCCD Faculty members, Olga Tsoudis, in participating in her sabbatical project, "STOP CALLING ME GIRL!". Here is some information about it:
"I am a sociology faculty member at Estrella Mountain Community College in Arizona. I am currently writing my sabbatical proposal: "STOP CALLING ME GIRL: THIRD WAVE FEMINISM IN THE UNITED STATES." I will be creating a documentary and photo gallery on feminism for my project. The project would start August 2009 and end August 2010.
I would like to interview students in clubs which focus on gender, sexuality and social awareness-students who are social activists. These students would be included in the documentary and photo gallery. Perhaps I can videotape/photograph some of the club events."

She summarized the project to give you a better idea about what she would like to achieve with this. Please read more here
